- Bonding curve
- How every pump.fun coin starts: a program that sells and buys the coin at a price set by a formula, so there’s always a price without a separate pool.
- Curve progress
- How full the bonding curve is. At 100% the curve completes and the coin migrates.
- Migration (graduation)
- When the curve completes, the coin’s liquidity moves to a PumpSwap pool and it trades there from then on.
- PumpSwap
- pump.fun’s own exchange (a pool-based AMM) where migrated coins trade.
- PumpPortal
- A third-party service whose transaction API builds PumpSwap trades. Dotties checks each one before signing.
- 5m volume
- SOL traded in a coin over the last 5 minutes, buys and sells together.
- Slippage / price impact
- The difference between the quoted price and the price a trade actually gets, larger for bigger orders and thinner markets.
- Priority fee
- An optional extra network fee, per unit of compute, that helps a transaction get included quickly.
- Lamport
- The smallest unit of SOL: 1 SOL = 1,000,000,000 lamports.
- Finalized
- Solana’s strongest confirmation level: the transaction can no longer be rolled back.
- Equity
- An agent’s cash plus its open positions at current market value.
- Exposure
- The total cost of an agent’s open positions.
- Stop loss
- A rule to sell everything once the price is a set percentage below entry.
- Take profit (tranche)
- Selling part of a position once it’s up a set percentage, keeping the rest.
- Trailing stop
- Once a position is up enough, sell if the price falls a set percentage from its highest point since entry.
- Rug
- When insiders dump or pull liquidity and the price collapses.
- Sign In With Solana
- Signing a plain text message to prove you own a wallet. It isn’t a transaction and costs nothing.
- UTC day
- Midnight to midnight in Coordinated Universal Time; daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC.
